The first album released under Madonna's Maverick label, 1992's "Erotica" hit No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and contained six hit singles. The album, produced by Madonna, Shep Pettibone and Andre Betts, spent over a year on the U.S. charts. The title track peaked No. 3 on The Billboard Hot 100 and was followed by three more U.S. top 40 hits: "Deeper And Deeper" (No. 7), "Bad Girl" (No. 36) and "Rain" (No. 14). Some singles were only released in select territories. "Fever" was issued in Europe and climbed to No. 7 in the U.K., while "Bye Bye Baby" hit No. 15 in Australia.
