MADONNA BRINGS THE WORLD PREMIERE OF "CONFESSIONS II" TO 2026 TRIBECA FESTIVAL

New York, NY – Tuesday, May 12 – The Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, today announced that Madonna will return to world premiere a cinematic presentation accompanying her forthcoming new album Confessions II, directed by David Toro and Solomon Chase (TORSO), on Friday, June 5 at the Beacon Theatre. Following the screening, she will join the directors for an exclusive conversation with Jimmy Fallon. Confessions II cinematic experience is produced by DIVISION Powered by Dolce & Gabbana.

Confessions II is an ambitious visual work exceeding 10 minutes, built around the first six tracks of Madonna's forthcoming album including “I Feel So Free” and “Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter. It unfolds as a single, continuous piece, weaving together interconnected, music-driven sequences into an immersive cinematic experience. A film that gives physicality to the music, Confessions II lives in the tension between control and surrender, between being seen and disappearing into a crowd. Each song unfolds across six chapters, each one a sexy thriller, a dance delusion, an epic fever dream. Like the album, it blurs distinction between tracks, building cosmic narratives that follow a twisted dream logic.

The result is a transcendent journey that catapults the viewer through a fucked-up night out that’s remembered not for what happened, but for how it felt. Madonna is ambushed, pursued, and ultimately worshipped by a roving squad of camera-wielding femmes. From the bedroom to the club bathroom, to the car, to the arena, and even into nature, they cruise the many spaces in which music thrives. Inside these sanctuaries, we discover reflections on dualities that have accompanied Madonna's entire career: privacy and publicity, grief and catharsis, intimacy and communion, fandom and collaboration. But everything always returns to the one, hallowed place that started it all: the dancefloor.

The post screening conversation will highlight the creative process behind the project, offering a rare insight into the vision, craft, and how it was translated to the screen.

“Madonna has spent decades proving that reinvention is its own art form,” said Tribeca Festival Co-Founder Jane Rosenthal. “Confessions II feels immersive, provocative, and completely of the moment, while still channeling the kind of nightlife mythology only she could create. We are thrilled to welcome Madonna back to Tribeca."

Madonna, recognized for bold creativity, continual evolution, and a lasting impact on culture has shaped music, fashion, and live performance. Her work often reflects a strong appreciation for film and cinematic imagery. Beyond her artistry, she has been deeply engaged in social advocacy, including LGBTQIA+ rights and global health initiatives, consistently using her platform to provoke dialogue and question societal expectations. Her distinct career remains marked by a unique ability to amplify artistic expression through sustained creative exploration.

TORSO is a New York-based photography and directing duo formed by David Toro and Solomon Chase, partners in life and work. Their practice spans still photography, fashion film, runway direction, and music video production, united by a post-internet visual language that blends fashion, performance, and digital culture. They first emerged through involvement in a New York art collective focused on internet-native contemporary art practices. Their work includes collaborations with major fashion houses and global brands, producing runway shows, films, and commercial campaigns that emphasize movement, experimentation, and cinematic storytelling across both digital and live environments and contemporary cultural contexts today.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting today exclusively to Madonna Community members, accessible only through unique digital access codes (To join Madonna’s Community from the U.S.A. and Canada, please text (917) 814-6582). The world premiere takes place Friday, June 5 at 8:00pm at the Beacon Theatre, New York City. Tribeca Festival at the Beacon Theatre is presented by City National Bank.

COACHELLA MISSING COSTUMES

Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella!
Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible.
Bringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill!

This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing- my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments.
These aren’t just clothes they are part of my history.
Other archival items from the same era went missing as well.
I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul, will find these items and reach out to my team at: lnfomaverick2026@gmail.com.
I’m offering a reward for their safe return.
Thank you with all My Heart 🩷

MADONNA RETURNS TO THE DANCE FLOOR

(April 15, 2026 - Los Angeles, CA) Madonna announced today her eagerly anticipated new album Confessions ll is set for release on July 3rd via Warner Records.

The new album is the continuation of the iconic counterpart Confessions on a Dance Floor. Ahead of the lead single, Madonna unveils the first taste of music with a trancelike visual teaser. Watch HERE. Fans can pre-order the album + the ultimate curation of expansive vinyl, CDs and cassette offerings HERE.

Madonna sums up her new record best by quoting the first few lines of her song, One Step Away, “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”

Madonna adds “When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto”: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect — with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.

Sound, light, and vibration Reshape our perceptions Pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.

MADONNA RETURNS TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

(September 18, 2025 - Los Angeles, CA) Today, it was announced Madonna, the best-selling female artist of all time, has signed with Warner Records for her highly anticipated, upcoming new dance album. This is a return home for the seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner since Warner Records served as Madonna’s label for the first 24 years of her career.

From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer. Since the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations” Madonna expressed regarding the new deal.

"We are honored to welcome Madonna back home to Warner Records.  Madonna isn’t just an artist—she’s the blueprint, the rule-breaker, the ultimate cultural juggernaut.  For decades, she has not only defined the sound of global pop music but also reshaped culture itself with her vision, innovation, and fearless artistry," said Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson, co-Chairmen of Warner Records.  "This signing represents a historic, full circle moment, one that brings her back to the label where it all began and reaffirms her unparalleled influence, setting the stage for an exciting new era of creativity and impact.”

Time goes by so slowly as the Queen of the Dance Floor is set to return with a new album in 2026; Madonna’s first studio album in seven years. She reunites with award-winning producer, songwriter and DJ Stuart Price, for the follow up to her acclaimed Confessions on a Dance Floor.  Upon release, Confessions on a Dance Floor didn’t just deliver multiple hit singles - it ignited the global dance world and redefined dance-pop music once again. As a true cultural supernova, Madonna reinforced her unmatched ability to spark both musical revolutions and cultural transformations.
