My very first time...
It was a rainy afternoon, cool, traveling from Mexico City, my first trip to America to attend a concert, my first time in Hartford and certainly my first time with Madonna. This was "Like a Virgin" experience, so many emotions stirring difficult to match with any other experience, I sang, danced, cried, shout... and I was thrilled too!.
Finally we had known, since then I have seen you four more times and the same emotion remains. Thank you very much for these incredible moments, I can not wait to see you again on tour.
Happy Birthday Madonna! |

We met! It was amazing.
Being your biggest fan since 1983 and attending almost all of the tours, I was so tired of being just one of the crowd way up in the stands. So I finally joined ICON, made so many great friends, and was eligible for the pre-sale. That process was nerve racking, but I landed pretty decent seats.
The night of June 25th finally arrived. When my partner and I entered the Hartford Civic Center and went to the ticket scanners, we were swept aside and told to go to \"Special Services.\" I was partially in shock, with all kinds of thoughts running through my head but remember something about upgraded seats because ours were partially obstructed.
Bada boom bada bing, next thing you know, I am in the front row against the massive mirrored catwalk. Slowly, I came to realize that Madonna and ICON had upgraded me to the best seats in the house, and I was going to come face to face with the person who for 23 years has inspired me more than any other person in my lifetime.
The show was amazing. From the moment the massive disco ball emblazoned with Swarovski crystals burst open, till the last balloon fell from the ceiling during Hung Up, I was dancing, jumping and sweating like a whore in church. When it comes to the magic of Madonna\'s music, who could ever contain themselves? During Let It Will Be, Madonna walked right up to me on the catwalk, dancing her ass off, and gazed deep into my eyes. I could barely even breath. Your eyes are so beautiful and kind Madonna, yet powerful and all knowing at the same time. It was the most amazing moment of my whole life.
Of course Sticky & Sweet bought me even more magic moments than I could have ever dreamed, but I will always hold the Confessions Tour which I saw 4 times (but for the FIRST time in Hartford, CT) as the most moment in my life.
Thank you Madonna and ICON for making it so unforgettable. I love you forever.
Happy Birthday!
