I was so young and begged my parents to please take me to see Madonna in concert...first begging them in 85 to see her on The Virgin Tour...then 90 on the Blond Ambition Tour. Whatever their reasoning we were not able to go. But when I was old enough I was determined to see her \"Girlie Show\". I bought that ticket to see her at Madison Square Garden. Grant it I did not have good seats at all but it did not matter. Seeing Madonna live in NYC was an event. There was an electricity in the air even outside the venue. Men and women dressed like her. They sang her songs even in the hallways before the show began. Once the lights went down and the stage lights went up there was a roar in the crowd I never heard in my life. She emerged from below the stage in her leather \"Dita\" costume complete with riding crop singing Erotica. What a show! What a memory. My dreams came true that night. I could not believe that I was there with so many of her fellow fans uniting in this night of chills. Thank you Madonna for a wonderful memory...one that will last with me for the rest of my days!

I was actually in the pit when I saw the show, I used to be a photographers assistant and was lucky enough to have been asked along to assist...little did he know that I am a huge Madonna fan... photographers usually are only allowed to photograph the first 3 songs after the opening and then lead back out of the venue...at least that was the case this night...from the moment she so memorably stomped down the stage and removed her Erotica mask I was exhilarated..I was SO intensely moved and happy to be seeing her so close!..it was very surreal and quick, I spent the whole time screaming \"I love you Madonna!\" over and over...I knew she could hear me because she looked right at me at one point and gave me a huge smile and winked, I will never forget it... I\'ve said it before and I\'ll say it again...I love you Madonna!...you have brought me more happiness than you will ever know, Happy birthday...g
