The soundtrack to "Evita" was an international top ten success, reaching No. 2 in the U.S. and No. 1 in the U.K. The double album spun off three hit singles: the Academy Award-winning "You Must Love Me" (No. 18 in the U.S. and No. 10 in the U.K.), "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" (No. 8 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the U.K.) and "Another Suitcase In Another Hall" (No. 7 in the U.K.). The lone original tune on the album, "You Must Love Me," not only won the Oscar for best original song, but also the Golden Globe for original song. Madonna herself took home the Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical, and the film won the award for best motion picture - comedy or musical.
